Alfred Tolmer (French, 1876–1957) was a Parisian advertising publisher who created packaging and printed design for luxury brands throughout the 1920s and into the 1950s, foreshadowing our obsession with tactile and luxurious merchandising.

Boards are slightly rubbed with edgewear, bumping to corners, looseness and splits to spine. Three of the colour illustrated pages are slightly damaged with paper remnants, rubbing or buckling. Overall the pages are in good bright condition
